This home encompasses all the features that home automation technology has to offer.  Using Crestron as the backbone of the system, this home includes multiple in-wall and table top touch panels to access every room’s sub system including climate, multi-media distribution, lighting, motorized shades, security, CCTV and intercom.  In addition to touch panels, all of the systems in the home can be accessed via an iPad application either in the home or on the road. The multi-media distribution system consists of Crestron’s Digital Media solution providing HDMI sources to 8 TV locations which enjoy content from the Kaleidescape entertainment system, blu-ray DVD player, cable TV and 2 Apple TVs.  Digital music is distributed through the home to 20 different rooms with the Crestron Sonnex system providing the listener independent source selection and control for each of the 20 rooms.
